Cadr\u00e9 en plans serr\u00e9s, le film montre la cohabitation entre un p\u00e8re et son fils psychotique, \u00e0 qui il tente p\u00e9niblement de faire accomplir les gestes quotidiens les plus simples (s\u2019habiller, manger, aller se coucher…). Le caract\u00e8re proprement horripilant du personnage (dont les cris et la ma-nie de tout r\u00e9p\u00e9ter en boucle jouent avec les nerfs du p\u00e8re comme du spectateur) et l\u2019exigu\u00eft\u00e9 du lieu, une cabane isol\u00e9e au milieu des bois, donnent au film une atmosph\u00e8re \u00e9touffante. La tension monte progressivement jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce qu\u2019un geste manque de faire basculer le film dans le drame. Ce n\u2019est qu\u2019\u00e0 ce moment qu\u2019on d\u00e9couvre enfin v\u00e9ritablement le beau visage du jeune homme, muet, ind\u00e9chiffrable, telle une \u00e9nigme face aux comportements insens\u00e9s qu\u2019on a pu constater auparavant.
