In the early morning, the car radio plays information and advertisements. Eyes in the wave, silent, a couple and their little boy seem to regret or desire another life. Where do they go, then ?

Monday’s style could be the one of a short-story : quick setting up of the layouts, minimalist sketch of the characters, spot on secondary events, and, finally, the outcome where everything needs to be read again. Nevertheless, the journey made, is placed in a floating duration whch seems to summon several times, several ways to apprehend the images : are warm shots of the colors of sunset memories of a henceforth passed weekend ? Or an ideal projection, unattainable, stirred up by the ad that we can hear ? Close-ups of thinking faces lead to this subjective remark, while the soundtrakcs wraps the desires of its characters in a social establishing. And the final shot, under the pasty white neon light completes to dispel that numb reverie, we’re no longer in a sleepy state : journey of a dramatization, where a melodrama could have had take place, towards the starkness of a documentary framing, fixed and frontal.
