For this 9th edition of the Fidé Festival, we’ve decided to base our entire communication and design marketing on the plastic artist, Nils D.C ‘s work.
The Artist
Nil’s work carries an extreme sensitivity, always on the edge of the breaking point. His characters’ portraits, with their bodies distorted by anguish and madness are the prisoners of an uncontrollable palette.
Despite a certain recurrence, almos obsessional, his imaginary contains an inventiveness concerning shapes, an orchestration of colors, a mastery of black and white that is beyond compare.
Divided between the innocent urge of childish works, and his mastery of the techniques used by the greatest, his paintings invite us to experience a visual shock that rattles are esthetics references.
